Mayor’s Office of Economic Development Welcomes New Molokai Small Business Advocate

The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development has announced Cynthia McCutcheon as the new Small Business Advocate for the Kuhao Business Center on Molokai.

McCutcheon replaces OED Molokai Business Advocate Jennifer Hawkins, who accepted a
position with the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture
and Human Resources.

A 4th generation Maunaloa resident, McCutcheon graduated from Molokai High School and moved to Oahu to further her education. Her work experience includes multiple supervisory positions in retail sales on Oahu and employment with The Lodge & Beach Village at Molokai Ranch and Castle Resorts & Hotels on Molokai.

McCutcheon is currently employed by Mycogen Seeds and has served for 7 years as an Office Professional, helping manage the company’s annual multi-million dollar operational budget as well as overseeing the accounts payable, payroll and IT support.

McCutcheon will assume her position at Molokai’s Kuhao Business Center on March 1st.
