Haleakalā National Park has announced that contract number 140P8218C0003 was awarded to Maris Inc. to complete rock scaling and vegetation removal on the vertical cliff face of `Ohe`o Gulch. Emergency crews in West Maui responded to a person pulled from the ocean fronting the sands of Kahana Condominium on Lower Honoapiilani Road Tuesday afternoon.
