Today is another muggy, hazy day for Maui County. Partly sunny skies and isolated showers for windward areas. Leeward spots, isolated showers in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon with building cloud cover. Highs climbing into the upper 80’s for our hottest areas. Variable winds to 15 mph.
These conditions are expected to persist over most of Maui County as we approach the weekend. The arrival of a shear line late Saturday through Monday will usher in a wet trade wind regime.
Surfwise, not much going on – we’ve got a small mix of SW and SSE swells mainly around waist high or less. Northern exposures are flat to very small.
