Consistent weather in the forecast

The weather has been pretty consistent for a while now. Nice breezy trade winds, windward and mauka showers favoring the morning and evening hours and a bit of afternoon cloud build-up as the sea breeze kicks up in the afternoon for leeward areas.

Highs – mid to upper 80’s
Winds – Trades 15-20mph

Breezy trade winds will continue. Through tonight we do expect an enhancement of those W/M showers, sometimes even passing leeward on our winds. Expect drier conditions starting Wednesday with trade winds diminishing over the weekend.

Surfwise, modest trade swell for exposed sides of Maui County. Small swell energy from the southern hemi through the weekend. Overlapping SSW and SSE swells holding around waist high or less across the southerly exposures.

UV index at 11 (extreme exposure level)
Sunset tonight at 7:09pm
Sunrise tomorrow at 5:45am
