Customers pay it forward to Maui Lani Safeway employee

Kili Brown and Pili Akima are two frequent shoppers of the Maui Lani Safeway in Wailuku. According to Kili on their frequent trips to the store, they met Dale. After befriending Dale, the story of his current living conditions inspired him and his friend Pili to get Dale an alternative form of transportation. Kili and Pili donated a bike to Dale “who works very hard at the Maui Lani Safeway in Wailuku”, Kili said. Dale has had to walk to and from work from the shelter. He also walks everywhere else. The guys frequent the store and always interact with Dale at work. Kili and Pili then decided to pay it forward to Dale for what Kili says, “shows us and everybody else great customer service at the Maui Lani Safeway”.

We hope you enjoy your bike Dale! ALOHA ALWAYS! ‪#‎givebacktuesdays‬
