Thunderstorms across Maui trigger Flood Advisory

At 8:02 PM radar indicated heavy rain from a strong thunderstorm over windward Maui. The heaviest rain was located between Hamoa and Kipahulu along highway 330.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Flood Advisory for the Island of Maui.

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Pukalani, Haliimaile, Pauwela, Haiku-Pauwela, Kaupo, Haiku, and Makawao.
