Man brandishes Brass Knuckles in Kahului, demands cash

On November 19, 2015 at about 7:48 p.m., Wailuku Patrol Officers responded to a Disorderly Conduct case at Panda Express Restaurant, Kahului. Reports of a male suspect wearing Brass knuckles was causing a disturbance within, however fled prior to police arrival.

Officers were re-directed to a Robbery type case at Wal Mart, Kahului. The female victim, reported a male suspect, wearing a red shirt and red shorts, approached her and brandished a set of brass knuckles and demanded cash. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled within the store.
The victim did not sustain injury as a result of this incident.

Preliminary investigation revealed the male suspect at the Panda Express Restaurant is the same suspect in the Robbery case at Wal Mart.

The investigation is ongoing, no further information at this time.
