Rumors were buzzing around the island that music superstar Katy Perry was making an appearance on Maui. Yes, it indeed happened last night. Hundreds gathered on Wailea Beach to get a glimpse and at the very least, a chance to hear the superstar perform for a private event at the Grand Wailea.
The group known as SAP travels to Hawaii annually filling hotel rooms to capacity and has always been known for throwing spectacular events with A-list artist and entertainment. The company has also brought their large productions to other islands in the State.
Katy Perry has sold 11 million albums and 81 million singles worldwide. She was featured at last year’s Super Bowl Half-Time Show.
Apparently, you can’t keep these things a secret. If you are on the A-List and performing on Maui, word tends to spread like wildfire.
