The Shops at Wailea listened to its customers about parking

The Shops at Wailea has updated its parking program to ensure the first-hour of parking is always free. According to a press release, “We are pleased to announce that regardless of how long you spend at The Shops you will never be charged for the first hour.” Also, a validation is available for an additional three-hours with a minimum purchase. All retailers will be offering the parking validation program with a minimum purchase of $25.

The release went on to say, “We appreciate the input we have received from our retailers and customers. We are continuing to listen to customer feedback and are always striving to improve the parking program.” This program is being implemented to assist with monitoring cars that are not parking to shop at the center. This means customers will have more open parking for their shopping needs. There are three easy steps to the program:

  1. The first hour is free for those that need to make a quick stop for any reason.
  2. All retailers will offer validation for an additional three hours with minimum purchase.
  3. Parking ambassadors will be available throughout the center and in the parking lot to assist you with your questions and exiting from the parking lots.

Easy-to-follow signage will be displayed at all gates and around the center to assist customers.

The new parking validation system will be effective April 1st.
