Maui’s Last Dairy Queen & Orange Julius Abruptly Closes

In a social media post on Facebook, owners of the last Dairy Queen and Orange Julius on Maui announced the it’s closure.

“It is no longer financially feasible for us to operate at Lahaina Cannery Mall,” the post read. “We have done our best to work with the mall on a solution. The operating costs at the mall have become too high for the number of customers in the mall.”

They went on to say, “We look forward to our paths crossing again in the future. We will continue to look for opportunities in Maui. If you’re ever on Oahu or the Big Island, we have 7 locations for you to feed your DQ craving. Until then, Aloha ‘Oe Lahaina.”

We will miss the Lahaina DQ Ohana.
