California visitor arrested for allegedly violating 14-day travel quarantine

On November 14, 2020 at about 11:50 a.m., Colleen Proppe (52) from California, was arrested for two counts of Rules and Orders and Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.

 Investigation reveals that On November 7, 2020, Proppe arrived at the Honolulu International Airport from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. She stayed in Honolulu for one night, then arrived at the Kahului Airport on November 8, 2020. 

 Upon arrival to Maui, Proppe did not have an exemption and was required to complete a 14-Day quarantine. Proppe also failed to completed the Safer Travels Application, and she did not check into her listed quarantine lodging location. 

Proppe posted several photographs of her around the island of Maui, to her social media.  Proppe was later located and arrested in Spreckelsville. 

Proppe was charged and her bail was set at $6,000.  As of November 16, 2020 at about 7:45 a.m., Proppe remains in police custody.
