Maui Fire Department rescue crews responded to the Bamboo Forest along Hana Highway on Monday afternoon.
Officials say a 41-year-old male fell approximately 20-feet from a waterfall onto rocks. He suffered multiple injuries to his body.
The man, a visitor from California, was flown to Maui Memorial Medical Center in serious condition.
