Police ID Victim in Fatal Kahului Collision

The Maui Police Department’s Traffic Investigators have identified the victim in a motor vehicle collision that occurred on September 11 in a parking lot located at 200 Kamehameha Avenue in Kahului. The Maui Police Department is warning the public about an alleged attempted kidnapping that occurred near Maui Waena Intermediate School in Kahului. On Thursday at about 1 p.m. Maui Police Department Wailuku Patrol Officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a body floating in the waters off of Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului.
